How Do You Manage Your Time?
How do you manage your time? Do you designate certain days for certain tasks?
I have been trying to designate days for certain tasks. A typical week in my life looks like this:
Monday - "Me Day" This is the day I plan out our week, do laundry, run errands, create my to-do list for my business, etc.
Tuesday - Focus on client work...and probably more laundry.
Wednesday - Start planning out my social media posts for the next week...and, again, more laundry.
Thursday - Family/Business budget day. I work on paying our household bills and also create invoices for my business...and, you guessed it, more laundry.
Friday - Business wrap up and family day. I try to wrap up my client work and then Friday evenings are focused on my family...I actually take a break from laundry on Friday's!
Weekends - I really try to not work on the weekend so I can focus on any household tasks that need to get done...like laundry.
As a family of 5-6, depending on who all is home, we have a pretty busy schedule and lots of laundry. My week doesn't always fall into place as easily as it looks on paper, but that's the perk of working from home! I can work around my family's schedule and work when it's convenient for me.
